HaZardModding has released once more a new version of it's outstanding Star Trek: Elite Force II, Co-Op Mod.
Some of the new features are:
- 7 more levels to enjoy, including the complete Mission 5.
- A Class System, each one with a unique ability; Medic,Heavy Weapons and Technician.
- Team-goodies for collecting Golden Ships...
- Blood effect and a skull symbol on players with health lower that 31.

| EF2: Master Server Fix |

Since the Master Server is back some servers are no longer shown in the query list, some players can't connect to some servers any more and connecting to a game server takes much longer now.
But as you have expected here comes the solution...
...Simply change on your server the cvar sv_master1 to ef2master.activisionblizard.com and your day is saved!
We believe that applies to all Activision Games, but with different subdomains of course

Finally the Activision Master Server is back online. We belive the Master Server was never down, it took just a while to update the dns to the new Master Server IP.
But now can also add a second master to your game: sv_master2 ef2master.activisionblizzard.com

Today Sunday August the 10th at 22:30 CET the live webcast of the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas will go on air!
With Leonard Nimoy as special guest first images of the upcoming Star Trek Online game will be revealed, the will show real actual game working and functioning for the first time!
In a last news message from the Google Associated Press Jack Emmert, Cryptic Chief Creative Officer has revealed already a few consepts of the new game.

| HaZardModding Co-Op Mod 3.4 is here! |

Version 3.4 comes only with one level of the Mission 9, HazardModding states that the Scripts at Mission 9 are higly complex and more time is required to ready these Levels for release.
But we are happy to see that the complete Mission 7 has been relased for the Multiplayer.
New features:
- Team-mates can heal each other with the Tricorder.
- A Menu to quickly send predefined messages to the Team.
- Updated Configure Hud.
- Upgraded the Main Menu Hud.
- Upgraded the Serverlist Hud.
- Advanced Health Hud.

| Star Trek Online back with Cryptic Studios! |

The site at www.startrekonline.com has been reopened again and now Cryptic Studios Is Developing Star Trek Online.
Cryptic Studios has already developed MMORPG games in the past; City of Villains and City of Heros. Currently in production is Champions Online and of course Star Trek Online.
Cryptic Studios announced to release Gameplay footage at the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. The presentation shall be at 1:30 pm, in the Gene Roddenberry Theater, a webcast shall be available too. Screenshots are of course already available at the official STO site.

I personally think Cryptic Studios can create a good Star Trek Game.
They have experience with developing MMORPG Games and they have a sence for humour which you can see at their website "EARTHDATE 2008.xx.xx" at each news and in the forums is a section called "Federation News Network", but that's of course not all, so you better go checkout the Star Trek Online Website and Forums. |

| BF2 Division Officially Closed |

Since this week the BF2 server is put permanently off-line.
No one shows interest to play on it and we have no active division members any more.
By this the BF2 division is officially declared closed.
Note that the darkMatter clan it self is not closed or ended, we are currently working on new concepts, new website and will reveal them soon.
The TeamSpeak server stays online because it is still active with the other clan and community members and we have still plans for it in the future.
Thx for everyone that joined the division.
I wish all now ex-members of the BF2 division much luck in other games and remember your always welcome on our forms or TeamSpeak server.
